Having similar symptoms to other conditions makes Sjögren’s Syndrome difficult to diagnose.  Making life easier still, there is no single test for it.

Expect questions about symptoms from your GP and some ‘just how dry are they’ tests for your eyes and mouth.  These tests can include a tear break-up time and Schirmer test, a lip biopsy, a salivary flow rate test and blood tests.
